Recycling / Reuse Advice For Items Used in Our P&P.

We’d love you to recycle our packaging, but some items cannot be recycled due to the materials used, so in this case we recommend you reuse these items where possible.

Here is a list of our packaging items used and how you can recycle/reuse them:

  1. Brown cardboard boxes and envelopes are widely recyclable. Flatten the box after removing all labels or tape, and place in your recycle bin for collection. You could also reuse these for storage, gift-giving, or for future posting.
  2. Coloured tissue paper is not generally recyclable due to the dyes used. So these can be saved for later gift-giving, postings, or crafting and party decorations.
  3. Our coloured mailing bags are made from 50% recycled plastic, and are 100% recyclable, but not in your usual household recycling bin. Instead, bring these to a soft plastic film recycling collection point in your local participating supermarket or large retail store. Or again, these can be reused for future postings.
  4. Our clear garment bags are also not recyclable in household bins, but can be brought to the soft plastic film recycling points at supermarkets. They are also great as dust covers for seasonal closet storage, or can be used as protective covers when travelling.
  5. Our small grip-seal bags are infinitely reusable for storing items used in crafting, jewelry, screws/nails, and bits and bobs.
  6. Documents enclosed envelopes are not recyclable in residential recycling bins and should be brought to your local soft plastic film recycling collecting point.
  7. Our garment wash instructions are paper and can be put into your recycling bin at home.
